Happy 4th Birthday, Kate!!

Kate had a lot of gifts from her prek pals

(this is what "no gifts, please" amounts to.  I get it. People like to buy gifts, especially for little kids.  Her friends were very thoughtful (and no princess crap :-) )

When we returned from her prek party, she was a bit sugared-up and in general high spirits from the festivities.  She was bouncing on my lap and fell off, teeth first, onto my knee.  There was quite a bit of blood and 2 very loud screams (mine and hers). Wait, three (Alex then lost it too).  I thought I was going to see her 2 front top teeth on the floor, but they were just loose and bloody.  The dentist had us come in for a look and told us to take it easy with chewing etc. and if they weren't dead by Monday she would install a brace.  Fun times!
