Selling

Here are the pics of our place all ready to sell

Stock pic of facade the broker had (they have sold a few here)

We cleaned and packed for VT and organized and stuffed and got the place ready for the work crew who would be repairing and painting for 3 days.  Showings will be on Thursday and Friday, followed by 2 open houses over the weekend.  I would be in VT with the kids the whole time and Steve would be staying with his uncle in Davis Sq.

Sparkling!  Not easy to do with Kate and Alex helping, but it only needed to look like this for one weekend!

A friend's daughter upon seeing the pics tile her mom "this isn't Kate's room".

I would live here.  Wait, why are we moving?

We spent a few nights at Grammie's and then we all drove to Corinth together.
Steve left us here, in winter wonderland.  I have to be honest, I was totally freaked out.  I didn't anticipate feeling so nervous, but it is a big house literally in the middle of no where.  And  I didn't have a car.

Luckily, Steve's dad and Debi came to visit for a night.  My friend Megan and her fam were also in VT so I asked them to come for a night (OK I begged)

Then, the weather took a turn for the worse.  Steve drove up a day early to collect us and we hurried back to Boston.  The driving was not great.  We all stayed at Davis' (and went bowling to get out of the apt) and then went to Johnny's Bday party the next day. In the snow.

SO, what a week!  What a month!  It was all worth it.  14 offers, all over asking price, and one (the winner) will allow us to stay til August.  What a market!  We celebrated for a minute and then started biting our nails over what market we were getting ourselves into...

Blizzard of 2013

Alex may always have to contend with snow on or near her birthday.

The bike path was awesome

This one was a doozy.  We were lucky not to lose power.  My parents and bro lost it for days
X-Country skiing

Bitter winds
Police and plows only allowed out

Papa went to work on day 2.
Waiting for pops
What Steve will see when he comes home.  Not exactly a fair representation of what went on here that day

After the storm was over, the sun came out and was glorious.  The white snow was crazy bright and Alex actually needed her shades for once.

Walked to Davis to check out the snow sculpture the hipsters did last night
Pretty awesome!

Mardi Gras
Perfect for a potty-training toddler.  She was psyched
Birthday cake!  She sang herself another happy bday tune

Back to normal.  The meter maids were actually ticketing people.
