A Day in Concord

We went to the Louisa May Alcott Orchard House in Concord to celebrate our friend Cathel's Birthday (aka Rover's mom). We had a tour of the house and Kate was very restrained (literally. I carried her throughout because you cannot touch a single thing in the house...)

You can trust me... I won't touch a thing, I promise....

Kate and Rover were eager to enroll...

Trying to get in the front door....

We then cooled off with a picnic and dip in Walden Pond

What a day!

Drumlin Farm

We have discovered the wonderful Drumlin Farm in Lincoln (about 25 minutes from us). We joined for the year, so we will be going a lot I hope! I have to keep in touch with her Vermont half. Here are some pics from various visits with Rover, Papa, and Mama

Kate broke out signing Baa, Baa, Black Sheep...

Would love to know the story behind this plaque in the pig pen. They have a preschool there.. I wish it were closer to us!!

Arts in the Park

Cambridge Center for Families put on an outside arts day for the kids. Looks like she has some of Auntie Becky's genes!!

She cooked for Butchie when we got home...
