We spent Labor Day on the Cape (Chatham) with Steve's college buds
Alex meets Evelyn, Sarah and John's daughter. She is 3 mos olderKate with Max (almost 2; Butch (the man) and Amy's son) and Greta (7, Greg and Amy's (a different Amy) eldest daughter (they have 3!).

One our way to the beach
In the barn. Kate thought it was GREAT.
The most beautiful tree in Butch's yard. It is bare because Hurricane Irene blew salt water on most of the trees here. It looked like November, not September here!
The Homestead. Nine generations of Butch's family have lived in this house. The original inhabitants were Sea Captains. A lot of the original furniture remains, and the house is filled with antiques and paintings of the family. Very cool. His mom still lives here year-round
Bandit (the dog), Amy, Butch, Greg, me, Steve, John, Sarah and kids. The Wheaton Crew (minus me and John)
Steve and Greg. They were freshman roommates 20 years ago. Now they have 5 daughters combined!
Max, Greta and Kate
Greta, Greg, Alex and Kate. Alex and Kate both love Greta!
A walk in the beach, It was very windy! Chatham has a shark problem and it is not advisable to swim when you see seals (seals=sharks). We saw a few schools of seals so kept out of the water!
Such a nice beach though. Doesn't feel like Massachusetts!
