Due Date
Wednesday, Feb 2 came and went with no baby sis. I figured that might happen so i factored in a few more links so Kate wouldn't be confused...
She loves taking them off

During Kate's nap I put together a "Big Sister Box" to give her when baby sis arrives. I found this mini Butchie (about half the size) and figured it would be nice if Butch also got a baby sister.
I threw in some lollipops, jelly beans, a purple crayon toothbrush that lights up, stickers, a journal covered with the letter K to put her stickers in, materials for a monkey 'tail' necklace for Butch (longgggg story), and a big sister medal from my friend Rina, all packed in a Curious George tin. OK, maybe I went overboard?

Funny, on Kate's due date I was treating myself to a spa and lunch at the Charles Hotel. Today I was thinking of ways to make sure Kate would feel special.

We decided to make cookies for baby sister. I bought a footprint cookie cutter and Kate thought purple and green feet would be nice. With some frogs, bunnies, cats, and tractors, of course.

Loved the frogs

They were delicious!
We figured they would be around for guests to eat when we were in hospital.
