Drumlin Farm School

We have had so much fun at "Farm School" at Drumlin Farm in Lincoln, MA this fall. We meet once a week for an hour and have milked a cow, fed sheep, pigs, chickens and goats, held a chick, gathered eggs, met an owl, bunny, and a family of mice, made butter, etc etc! A lot of firsts for both Kate and Mama. We can't wait to do it again in the spring.
Foliage at its peak. I don't think I have ever seen such spectacular foliage! The car ride up Rt. 2 past Walden Pond to the farm must be one of the finest foliage routes in Mass. It was honestly intoxicating.

There are a lot of pics in this post.....I tried to keep the number to a minimum but it was hard!

Hayride

Kate got a hold of my camera. "Smile Mama!"

We have some work to do...

This is when I wish I had a fancy camera

Cow milking! It was hard to get pics. What an experiance! Kate was even able to get a squirt.

"I'm a scarecrow!"
