5 year check up stats:
Weight: 43.5 lbs
Height: 3' 7.5"
My baby turned 5. It is a cliche, I know, but wow, it went so fast. In 5 more she'll be 10! She probably will be mortified at 10 if I show up at school with a tray of "worms and dirt", so I am glad I am doing it while she still loves when I show up at school with anything. Worms and dirt = chocolate pudding mixed with crushed Oreos with a gummy worm.
She was surprised and delighted. I read and donated "Diary of a Worm" and then told her class that, although they didn't know this about Kate, she likes to eat worms and dirt. They were incredulous in that adorable 4 and 5 year old way. Kate knew immediately where I was going with it, so she just smiled. They loved it, of course, and were all filthy by the end of it.It was a Red Sox tag day. Here she is in her birthday crown
Emeli and Lily
Kate started T-ball this month. I have some cell pics, but need to bring a real camera. Alex keeps me busy on the field, so it is tough! Here she is modelling her new equipment (I kept my mouth shut when she chose pink, but why do 'they' have to make pink baseball equip? silly)
To think I knew so little about this girl and so much about my 5 year old.
Wow, like Christmas!
A unicorn hobby horse and a desk carousel filled with all the arts and crafts it could hold and a mix CD I made for her
Papa gave her "Baseball Guys" like cousin Henry has
Grammie's package
Uncle Jake was here for Kate's party and built Legos with the girls all am
and was having just as much, if not more, fun than them

All ready for her party!
