Summer Camp!

Kate went to Drumlin Farm Nature Camp in Lincoln for 2 weeks from 8:30-3:00.   It was great.  It was a real preview of what life will be like in the fall for us with Kate starting school full time.  After being pretty tired initially,  she (we) all got used to it.

She was a little nervous, but over that real quick

Butterflies

 Waiting for her sis.  Well, her wife.  That is what Kate calls her (and she dutifully answers to)

 Kate came running out yelling "MY WIFE!  MY WIFE" and they embraced and rolled down the hill.

 Alex had a hard time letting go in the AM.  She wanted to stay!

Family night.  Kate's class (The Seekers) did a song.  

 

 Alex started getting attached to Butchie while Kate was away.  Gulp....

 Only one or 2 rainy days

Kate and her best camp friend Rosey.  Rosey is also a city girl who commutes from the South End every AM

The last day.  Alex ran down the hill searching for Kate.  Kate was singing the camp song when we arrived.  When they broke up and cheered, Kate burst into the front of the group and yelled manically "I'M COMING BACK NEXT YEAR! EVERY YEAR!"  I need to be sure to keep her away from cults.

Them she saw us and yelled (as usual) "MY WIFE! MY WIFE!"

 The Happy Couple, together again.
