Alex 15 mos

Alex is still little miss independent.  She likes to swing on the 'big girl' swing like Kate.

 Story behind the Red Sox track suit.  She peed all over me (in the backpack carrier) at Fenway.  I didn't have any spare clothes, so was at the mercy of the gift shop with a naked baby in April.  $40.  It has actually been great for rain.  I didn't splurge for a matching set for myself and instead employed a hand dryer in the bathroom to dry my back.  Motherhood.

 15 month appointment.  Her stats: 20 lb 11 oz (9.384 kg) (17.12%); 30.5" (77.5 cm) (51.86%); 47 cm (80.13%)

 Alex has some words, but only says what she needs to.  She communicates in other ways and is still incredibly agile on her feet.  She likes to go go go

She weaned at 16 mos almost to the day.  She started fussing and it wasn't helping her to sleep anymore.  We said goodbye with a long 'nursey nap' on the couch while Kate was at school.  Things were shockingly fine for about 4 days, then we had one last couch session.  She never asked again.  I was grateful for such a beautiful,  mutual end to 16 months of wonderful nursing.  OK, sounds sappy, but I really loved the time with her.
