The Nutcracker

I took Kate to the Commonwealth Ballet's The Nutcracker this year.  I considered the Boston Ballet, but the ticket prices are a bit crazy for a 3 year old.  The Commonwealth's production was spectacular (and we had front row seats for the price that would have landed us in the Orchestra Left at the Boston Ballet...) and I think we will do it again next year!

It always shocks me a bit to see how much taller I am than Kate.  She is such my little bud that in my mind we are the same height.

Papa stayed with Alex.  It was the first time I have left her at night and Steve was able to get her down to sleep without a problem!  In fact, it was the best night she has had in a lonnng time.
 I really want to start monthly 'dates' with Kate

We sat next to each other at The Summer Shack.  Very Romantic

I have to admit I teared up a bit when the show started.  Kate was just so excited and it felt so special to share the moment with her
