Mother's Day. First we had to go to church for Alex's Baptism prep class and then we went to The Burren in Davis for a Ploughman's Lunch and half pint of Belhaven for Mama. Perfect!
The most beautiful Springtime phenomena in Boston as far as I am concerned: the blossom canopy over the bike path in Davis Sq (a little past peak in this pic). I love to remember walking through here with a newborn Kate to JP Licks for a well-deserved mama-treat. Look at how the blossoms cover the ground! They also kick up with the wind and blow in your face.
A cold spring! Alex with her hat in my Peekaru fleece baby carrier cover. So warm.
We were headed to Kate's preschool to be a chaperon to the school's trip to the Harvard School of Design for a public show.
It was a trip walking with 20 preschoolers to the show. It would normally be a ten minute walk but took us 35. All it took was one kid to break the line and run screaming "flowers!" toward a patch of dandelions to set pandemonium in motion. It was cold but fun!
The next day was over 80 and sunny. It was that kind of spring. Kate with her scooter on the bike path with the blossoms.
And then back to 50 the next day...
