14 months

Milestones this month:

Becoming well-versed in animal sounds (our fav: roars like a lion)
Visited real cows, chickens, and kittens in Vermont
Bringing us books to read and climbing on our laps
Blowing bubbles in the bath
Used the potty a few times
Had her first corn-on-the-cob
Some new words: knee, eye, wow, more (with the sign for it, too), me, up, no, yeah
Cut 3 molars (Ouch. Had fevers and some grumpy days...)

Kate in the tub. She finally moved from her small baby tub (which we placed in the large tub) about a month ago, after about a week of mom having to bathe with her until she felt secure. Now she loves it!

Kate begged for our corn the other night. Great teether!!

My laundry helper at work.

Kate will be a great city car parker (like her mother)!
no problem!

Kate in her Red Sox gear on Father's Day

Kate loves to get into her wagon with Butch.

Kate took off her diaper one day and gave me chase around the apt.

Kate loves to put on daddy's shoes.

Kate got a hold of my headband the other day and kept taking it on and off her own head. My little fashionista.

These are some pics from April that Grandma Henny gave me.

Kate post-dinner, pre-bath. I think we have all felt like doing this after a good meal.

I like to take Kate down this slide in our neighborhood playground. She loves it! Hopefully soon she can go down herself....

Butch takes a dip in the toilet...
Kate has a new interest in the bathroom and poor Butch took his second dip in two days (the first was in the bathtub, a bit more dignified)
We heard Kate's signature "Oohhh" and found her looking a bit guilty.

At Spy Pond in Arlington with Grandma and Grandpa King

At the park with Grandpa King

Kate took her first ride on a carousel this week. We met my old friend Alicia and her son Liam at what remains of Paragon Park, Nantasket Beach, MA.

Fun with O's
