Selling! We hope...

We're selling!  We decided this month to put our condo in the market.  Not an easy feat. First, we had to  hire an agent who recommended we pack away a bunch of stuff to de-clutter the place

Then, we had a plumbing issue to take care of...

And of course we have to find another place to live.  We accepted the fact that we would probably have to sell and then move in to a rental until we found another place to move.  The inventory in Cambridge is super low.  Add low interest rates to the mix, and you have over-bidding and bidding wars.  Yikes...

The HUGE cardboard house?  Not a problem!

The movers came and now we have a storage unit.  We hired a crew to repair cracks, caulking, windows, and paint the place during Feb vacation (we will be away).  Then we will put it on the market and see how it goes!  The agent thinks it will sell over one weekend.  Then we find a rental, then a new place. So, this has been the main reason I have had trouble blogging!  SO MUCH work. Stressful, too.

Alex continues to be a funny one.  She sings "I'm a dirty rascal, all through the town" to the tune of "Wheels on the Bus".  She also loves to use the Dustbuster and deliberately creates messes so she can clean them up.

Kate and I have been skating every weekend.  She loves it!  I even bought myself a pair of new skates, the first in years and years.  We bought Kate a pair of hockey skates as well and she is very proud
