Sisters

Kate and Alex have had a very eventful month.  Starting school, Ballet, Spanish Club, and lots of family events.  I am trying hard to preserve a lot of home time with my girlfriends, the Wives,

 They miss each other.  They spent almost every waking hour together this summer, so it is quite the adjustment,  Alex likes to hug and kiss Kate good-bye in the AM and looks for her all day.  At the park, she kept going over to the fence and calling "Kate? Kate?"
Whenever and wherever Kate sits, you can find Alex cozying up to her.  We started Music Together again and they love it.  Mama is exhausted afterwards, but they love it.  Alex always sits on Kate's lap.

Cambridge Family Fun Day

We celebrated the first day of Fall in style at the Cambridge Family Fun Day

Grammie and Scott were in town, so that made it even more special.  Kate, Steve, Grammie and Scott went to the Red Sox game Friday night, so it was an action-packed weekend

Ballet is Back!

Kate was so excited to start dance class again.  So was Alex.  She was a bit sad when the door shut and she couldn't go in.  She waits with her face pressed up against the glass door and squeals "Kate" when she catches a glimpse of her

Kate has the same teacher, Jaime.  Jaime was very happy to have Kate in her class again!  Lots of St. Peter families here as well

Alex 19 Mos

Alex is more and more interested in the potty.  Let's hope for an early trainer again!!

Still not very chatty, but since our 18 mo appt, she has hit a real 'language explosion" and seems to have a new word everyday.  She is loving "Open Shut Them" at the library hour with Cindy and at school.  She loves to sing!

Butchie's Birthday

Alex Goes to Nursery School

Alex at her "Meet and Greet".  Friend Emily looks so much like Kate did at ~2 years. Acts a lot like her, too

There are 9 kids in the class and 2 full time teachers and one extra for the first few weeks (her name is Pam and she has high school kids who came here as toddlers.  Alex loves her).  Her class is for 20 mos to 2.2 years (so Alex just made it)

 My view from the library (has a secret window where parents can see).  AMAZED she did so well after the initial tears.  I think having Sherry come to the house and the meet and greet helped.

 I made her a photo album to bring to school and it has been great.  When she is having a hard time separating or during the day, she looks though it with Shay Shay.

 She will be going 2 days a week from 830-1230.  Perfect!
