Alexandra's one month checkup stats:
9 lbs, 1 ounce (a 2 lb, 2 ounce gain since hospital d/c!)
21.5 inches
Milestones this month:
Cooing, eye contact, lifting head
Sleeping 4 hours
Some smiles
Survived first trip to a government agency (we had to go to the social security office b/c the hospital forgot to apply and we need her ssn for her passport!!) It was a tough trip.
Riding facing in in the Bjorn (on average 3x a day for an hour+ each time)
Tried the Moby...not great
Went to cousin Johnny's 2nd birthday party
Mama and Alex took off one Saturday for a long walk. It felt great!
My little monkeys
Meeting Nana at Josh's house
She hasn't spent too much time in her co-sleeper. She starts the night out there (about 9-12 or 1 if we are lucky) and then she comes in our bed to sleep/nurse. She usually wakes again at 4, nurses, and then wakes again at 7 or 8. Not too bad! She is a noisy sleeper though..
Alex in the Moby. She prefers the Bjorn. She is not happy unless she is nursing or being carried. She lasts about 2 minutes on average in the baby seat...I think she has reflux. She spits up way more than Kate ever did and is plagued by the hiccups.
This is how mealtimes look now (or, more likely, me nursing her)

Loves to be burped by papa, just not swaddled! She fights it and breaks free every night.
